Delete Your Wafeeq Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Wafeeq account and the data connected to it. It applies to the Wafeeq mobile app on Google Play and the Apple App Store, and to your account on https://wafeeq.com.

1. How to request account deletion

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app

Open the Wafeeq app
Go to Profile
Open Settings
Tap Delete account and confirm

Your account is deactivated immediately and the data below is removed within 30 days.

Option 2 — Email us

Send an email to [email protected] from the address registered on your Wafeeq account, with the subject "Delete my account" and your full name in the message.

We will confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days.

2. What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

Your name and email address
Your password
Your profile photo
Your course enrolments and learning progress
Your practice history, scores and streaks
Your messages and conversations
Your notification tokens and device identifiers
Educator or trainer profile details, if you had one

3. What data is kept, and for how long

We retain a limited amount of information only where the law requires it:

Data kept	Reason	How long
Donation and payment records	Accounting, tax and audit obligations	Up to 7 years, as required by law
Security and abuse logs	Fraud prevention and platform safety	Up to 12 months

These records are kept in the minimum form necessary. They are not used to contact you and are not used to build a profile.

Wafeeq never stores your payment card details. Payments are processed by PayPal under their own privacy policy.

4. Deleting data without deleting your account

If you want specific information removed but wish to keep your account, email [email protected] describing what you would like deleted. We will respond within 30 days.
